The primary aim of the Metabolomics Research Group is to study various metabolites and small molecules in complex biological samples. The members are committed to developing chromatographic and mass spectrometry methods that enable the targeted investigation of quantitative changes in small molecules in biological samples with high selectivity and sensitivity. The research group primarily focuses on the targeted investigation of amino acids, biogenic amines, water-soluble vitamins, estrogen forms, carbohydrates, hydrogen sulfide produced during the decomposition of sulfur-containing amino acids, and drug metabolites, in addition to performing shotgun metabolomics studies.
